Background and Description
The Copycats are all experienced, professional musicians who came together to form one of the country’s leading party bands. Between them The Copycats players have played throughout the world.
The Band have a growing reputation as one of the more accomplished acts in this market. The Copycats offer something to suit everyone’s taste, from the subtle melodies of the sixties to hits from the 00's. A huge repertoire of classic songs that will ensure you and your guests will have a night to remember.
The Copycats play totally live which is the only way to get the energy and excitement that only a live band can provide.
The Copycats use the best Instruments and PA Equipment to provide clients with fantastic quality of sound and lights. With a compact yet powerful sound system The Copycats are at home in small bars or large auditoriums and if we are too loud WE'LL TURN IT DOWN!
Between us we have lots of international experience, 4 members worked at the Budweiser Carnival in Japan. Lee and Lorri (singer and guitarist) spent 7 years performing in various locations in the Mediterranean with Thomson Gold Holidays, during this time we also worked for Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Sun Cruises.
The copycats are always well presented. Men are dressed in suits, female wearing a dress or trouser suit. We class our image as smart. Formal attire can be worn.
We pride ourselves in being professional in every way from musicianship to timekeeping, off stage behavior to image. We wont turn up at your function in ripped jeans and a string vest!! We have performed at many types of function including weddings, balls, proms corporate events, birthday parties, divorce parties! wedding anniversaries. The list goes on! Due to the nature of a live 5 piece band we are better suited to audiences of 90 people or more. If you have a large scale function (500 people and above) extra equipment can be hired to suit the venue. Hire can be arranged by the Copycats or the hirer.

I have known the Copycats just over a year now, And they have performed at a couple of Events such as Weddings and Birthday Parties, Personally and listening to the comments from the party guests it is very hard to say anything that faults the talented, young ambitious guys like the Copycats. Recently I hosted a Wedding Fair and The Copycats came along to promote their band as well as supporting our company. I would not hesitate in providing anyone with a reference and I look forward to working with them in the future…

We never wanted a band for our Wedding as all previous ones we had seen we’re not up to much.We wanted some thing special with 'no cheese'. A friend recommended the Copycats; I contacted Garry to explain the concept of our wedding. He sent me a CD and we meet up to discuss all the details. I booked The Copycats for 2 x 45 min sets and also booked a Ministry of sound DJ for later in the evening when the oldies had all gone home. My Ministry of Sound DJ never made it on and the Copycats never made it off the stage. They we’re amazing. The Copycats have since played all of my friend’s weddings and I highly recommend them.
