Comments & Feedback
Craigenroan Ceilidh band was even better than you described- in fact the best band I have heard at any wedding over the years.
- DC, Edinburgh
Everybody commented on how much Craigenroan contributed to the evening. The way in which you demonstrated and talked us through the dances was tremendous and helped me as I am not usually much of a dancer. I have not enjoyed that part of a reception since I last heard you five years ago at Dunblane Hydro.
The band in the evening was outstanding. The caller certainly got everybody into it .So many people have come back to us saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to-what more could we ask for.
- Mrs. H, Brentford, Middlesex.
The Craigenroan band were just great. They really helped to make the evening go with a swing. It was great that they called out instructions, as loads of our guests were ‘foreigners’ or English and had never done Scottish Ceilidh Dancing before, and everyone ended up on the dance floor.
- J M, London.
We had the most fantastic day of our lives and it was made all the more special by having Craigenroan. Craigenroan were great and they managed to get even the shyest of guests up on the dance floor – a great treat. They really made it such a special occasion for us all… we will never forget it.
- A and R Colquhoun
The band was even better than we’d hoped for- all our guests without exception said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It was absolutely fantastic to hear a band of the quality of Craigenroan and we feel very, very lucky to have had them play at our wedding.
- D and R, Wimbledon
Craigenroan were excellent, not only in the quality of their programme, but also in their approach to people. They were able to get plenty on the floor, including the continentals, without the pushy heartiness you sometimes get on these occasions.
- B F, Windemere.
All the Irish, English and German guests had an absolute ball—especially the one’s who’d never ceilidhed before.
- A W, Bridge of Allan
The Craigenroan Ceilidh Band were wonderful and got everyone on the floor. I must say how very pleasant and friendly they were to work with. If we come back to Scotland we would like them back again.
- A T, Sterling Power Group, Maldon, Essex.
We received many positive comments from conference participants about the friendly atmosphere that was created and the way in which you were prepared to accommodate different levels of dancing experience in the group. Many of those from outside Scotland went away with memories of the place the will never forget. The joint venture of Russian singing backed by the band will stay with us all.
