Hi Marji, I’m so sorry for not contacting you sooner than this but life has been quite hectic since July (I’d set up my own business earlier this year and things were and have been pretty busy for me!)
Our wedding reception what can I say! Jim and I were absolutely delighted with both you and the band - you just added to what was a truly brilliant day for us. You were knockout, our guests raved about how great the band was on the night, and since the reception we’ve had umpteen thank you notes from our guest and all have mentioned what a fantastic time they had and how they enjoyed listening to and dancing to your music.
Thanks especially for the time you took with Zoe, Emma, and Oliver they were just thrilled at being in the spotlight and had a great time as it was their first ever Scottish wedding and was a real eye opener for them. My only regret was that it was all over too soon - I could have gone on for hours!
Good luck for the future Marji, and I can honestly say that if I were to recommend a band for a wedding reception it would certainly be Atlantic Soul.

Dear Marj, Sorry not to write to you sooner but we just got back from honeymoon and are trying to get back into the swing of working in Bangkok. Thanks soooooooo much for your wonderful entertainment at our wedding on 23rd July at Merchiston Castle School. Everybody thought you were absolutely brilliant and you were just what we needed to have a huge party! Not a single person was sitting down - it was fabulous!!! The choice of songs was perfect and thank you so much for putting up with the requests from Kevin's New York friends (mad bunch but had such a blast!). We really can't thank you enough - it was such a relief when everything came together on the day having organized it from abroad and we are so grateful to you and the rest of the band for giving us such great entertainment to finish off our perfect day. Well we have definately come back to earth with a bang. we went away to Barra for a week and although the weather wasn't great it was just the break we needed. You and the band were fantastic! We too had a feeling about you and you def made our wedding go with a bang! Thank you sooo much for learning Tiny Dancer and embarrassing me with the Londoner song! My only regret is that we should have videoed the dancing as I can't remember so many parts of the eve - went so quick! Though i do remember you getting a sneaky dance with my hubby! Hope he didn't capture you for too long! Also love the Abba bit!! We loved every moment of the night and soo many people commented on how good you were. We will book you again for our 10 year anniversary!!! Feel free to use comments as you see fit and also please extend our thanks again to the rest of the band. My guests could not stop raving on how good the band were, many asking if they were friends of ours as they were soo lovely. They made an tremendous effort to learn our first dance (which was much appreciated) and do another wee song at the beginning – making the music feel personal to us. We hadn’t asked for any ceilidh dancing but a few songs were a welcome surprise and provided much fun in the dancing area.
Atlantic Soul are band that have the best front woman anyone could ask for. Her energy and drive extend from her through to the rest of the band, giving them a tight, family feel. They read the crowd brilliantly – changing tempo where needed and listened to our requests for certain songs. Nobody seemed to have a bad word to say about the band except they didn’t play for long enough! We would have had them there till 4am if we could!! From young to old - everyone found a tune they could dance to and the bride did not leave the floor all night!

I can’t thank you enough for Saturday, learning our first song in such a short space of time meant the world to us – you even had Scott in tears!! Everyone we spoke to commented on your performance and we couldn’t have asked for more, you really did make our night. Please say a big thank you to all the guys and I really hope we see you perform again soon. Thanks again Linzi
